Typical Day at Pine Forest Camp

  • 7:45 A.M.
    Rise and shine, 'cause you won't want to miss a minute of the day.
  • 8:10 A.M.
    Flag raising and announcements. Find out what's up for the day, and which friends have birthdays coming up.
  • 8:20 A.M.
    Breakfast. French toast, eggs, cereal, chocolate milk - grab whatever you like, 'cause you've got an action-packed day ahead.
  • 8:50 A.M.
    Take a few minutes to clean up your cabin with your friends. Who knows? You might win the "Honor Bunk" or "Golden Dustpan" award and score an extra canteen.
  • 9:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M.
    Time for some action. 3 periods, about an hour each of non-stop fun. This is what you're here for. Athletic leagues, rock climbing, swim, art… over 40 different activities.
  • 1 P.M.
    Lunch! Even the pickiest eaters love the food. Plus, mom will be happy to know there's plenty of healthy choices and a super salad bar.
  • 1:30 P.M.
    Rest Period. For now, you can take a break before the afternoon activities start up. So write letters home, read a book, or just relax with your friends for a while.
  • 2:30 – 4:25 P.M.
    More action. The afternoon has 3 more activity periods. Younger campers have a more pre-scheduled program and older campers more choice. Do stuff that you didn’t do in the morning; archery, tennis, lake…It’s all good!
  • 3:30 P.M.
    Milk and cookies, fresh fruit, soft pretzels, and more
  • 4:25 P.M.
    General Swim! Enjoy an end of day dip or a game of water basketball with your friends.
  • 5:15 P.M.
    Hit the showers, troops! It's time to clean up for dinner.
  • 6:00 P.M.
    Line-up and get the inside scoop on the evening activities.
  • 6:15 P.M.
    Dinner is served! Spaghetti and meatballs, turkey, chicken, salad - don't be shy. It's time to fill up on all your favorites.
  • 6:30 P.M.
    It's hobby time… Do your thing for a while. Maybe finish up a ceramic or rehearse for a play. This is also a good time to practice with one of you teams.
  • 7:30 P.M.
    Campfires, Capture-the-Flag, Wacky Relays, Socials for older campers. It really is amazingly fun activities. Stuff you can’t do anywhere but camp!
  • 9:30 P.M.
    For Juniors and Intermediates, it's time to get ready for bed. After 15 minutes of flashlight time, it's lights out.
  • 10:30 P.M.
    Goodnight Seniors and High Seniors. Tomorrow's another big day.
